Tools You’ll Need
- Drill (with drill bits)
- Screwdriver
- Pencil
- Measuring tape

Outside Mount Installation
- Decide where you want to place your shade above the window.
- Use a pencil to mark the installation location for the mounting brackets.
- Drill holes at the marked points.
- Align the bamboo shade with the mounting bracket codes.
- Fix the mounting brackets into place using the screws.
- Snap the shade into the brackets.
- Align the screws with the bracket slots and rotate them outward to secure the shade firmly.
Inside Mount Installation
- Align one bracket to the top side of the window frame.
- Use a pencil to mark the location of the bracket’s holes.
- Measure the vertical distance as shown in the installation video and note it down.
- On the opposite side of the top beam, mark the same distance using the measuring tape.
- Drill holes at both marked points.
- Insert expansion plugs into the holes with a hammer.
- Tighten the screws to secure both brackets.
- Snap the bamboo shade into the brackets.
Final Steps
- Test the shade by pulling the cord to make sure it rolls smoothly.
- Adjust the alignment if necessary so the shade hangs evenly.
- Wipe down the bamboo slats with a soft cloth to remove dust.
